How this site works
BidetNerd is a comparison database for bidets: 71 models across 27 brands, from $10 travel squeeze bottles up to $1,299 washlets. It exists because bidet listings are unusually bad at telling you the two things that decide whether you'll actually like the thing — how the water gets warm, and whether you need an electrician. 46 of the 71 models here need a GFCI outlet beside the toilet. That fact is buried in a spec table on most product pages; here it's a filter.
Where the specs come from
Water heating, spray pressure, nozzle behavior, seat fit, power requirements, install time, and warranty terms come from manufacturer spec sheets, installation manuals, and product documentation. Prices are typical list prices. Bidets go on sale constantly and the cheap attachments swing by ten dollars week to week, so read a price here as a tier, not a quote. Star ratings and review counts are aggregated from major retail listings — they are not reviews collected by this site, which is also why you won't find review-star markup in our page code.
Where the opinions come from
There is no test lab here and no staff of testers, and we're not going to invent one. The pros, cons, and owner notes on each model page are distilled from public owner discussion: Reddit threads on r/bidets and the home-improvement subreddits, long-term owner reviews, plumbing forums, and retail review sections read in bulk. When enough owners say the same thing — that a tank seat runs cold after forty seconds, that a remote eats batteries, that a slim attachment sprays sideways after a year — it goes in the cons. Boiling a few thousand comments down to a short list is editorial work, and we try to leave the wording as blunt as the owners wrote it.
How the lists are ordered
Guide, type, and brand pages sort by owner rating first, then by the spec the page is about. Nobody can pay for placement and there are no sponsored entries. If a model sits at the top of a list, it's because the aggregate rating put it there.
Keeping it current
The catalog was last refreshed on August 4, 2026. Models get added, prices get corrected, and discontinued units get pulled as we catch them — bidet lineups turn over faster than you'd expect, especially at the budget end where the same hardware ships under four brand names. If something looks wrong, it's a data bug rather than an ad.
